What exactly is this program?

The Law Schools Global League (LSGL) Summer School is a long-running partnership among the top law schools around the world. Every year, the LGSL organises a cutting-edge Summer School program that's hosted by a partner university and takes place during the northern hemisphere's summer (our winter).

Participants not only have the unique social and professional opportunity to study public and private law perspectives on a variety of global issues, but they'll enjoy exploring a new country during their downtime. For 2026, the LSGL Summer School will be hosted by Queen's University Belfast in Northern Ireland.

If you're an undergraduate law (LLB) or Juris Doctor student currently studying at UNSW, this is a fantastic opportunity to study overseas at Queen's University Belfast while enjoying the best that the vibrant Northern Irish capital city has to offer.

"The LSGL Summer School was a highlight of my time at UNSW Law & Justice. It is an opportunity to learn about a wide range of global legal issues in an international classroom, and to build lasting connections with law students from all of the globe.

Alexander Stefas, UNSW Law & Justice student at 2023 LSGL Summer School
