Mark your calendars for our holiday shutdown period!

UNSW will shut down operations from 5pm, Monday 22 December 2025 and reopen Monday 5 January 2026

Most of our services, including The Nucleus: Student Hub, will be unavailable during the University Shutdown period for Christmas and New Years.

Stay safe and enjoy your well-deserved break. Happy holidays! 🎉

Annual enrolment helps you plan ahead and lock in your preferred courses.

Enrolment changes can be made up until the deadline for each teaching period.

At UNSW, enrolment is a two-step process:

  1. Course enrolment – an annual process where you select the courses you want to study for the coming year.
  2. Class registration – completed each teaching period, where you choose your specific class times (such as lectures, tutorials, or labs) before the period begins.

If you’re new to UNSW and unsure about the difference between courses and classes, this guide will help you get started smoothly.

Enrol now to secure your courses for the year ahead!
