Most recently, I held a leadership position within Mental Health Services leading the Dietetic profession strategically and assisted with the development and implementation of the services new specialist community eating disorder service where I also worked clinically.

I am currently undertaking my PhD exploring the translation of interprofessional education into clinical practice, examining how learning about collaboration during training influences real-world team-based care. I am passionate about preparing health graduates to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams and to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

My research interests lie primarily within the interprofessional education and collaborative practice space.

As Interdisciplinary Health Science Lecturer I will teach students across all Health Science disciplines, with my goal to foster and develop students professional identify and collaboration skills.

My research focus currently is on interprofessional education and interprofessional collaborative practice across qualified healthcare professionals. Investigating the impact of healthcare systems on the ability of healthcare professionals to translate learning into the workplace and change practice. I am currently completing a realist review to explain how, why, for whom, and under what circumstances interprofessional education leads to changes in collaborative practice for qualified healthcare professionals.

My Teaching
